I build the infrastructure for complex, high-stakes work, often in Airtable. My clients are most often philanthropic organizations, family offices, and venture firms setting the foundation for something that can't afford to go wrong.
I work as an embedded partner, sometimes building systems and leading execution, sometimes designing infrastructure and training teams to run it, and sometimes advising through complex projects. The teams I work with value technical fluency, good judgment, and knowing they have someone who can step in at whatever level the work requires.
I most-frequently work on network management tools, downselection processes, and high-touch events. Every project is different and I like it that way!
Some recent examples:
- For a new fellowship program launching its first cohort: end-to-end application and selection infrastructure including scoring systems, review committee coordination, automated candidate communications, and ongoing program management tools.
- For a large grantmaking organization: a contract management system including document draft generation from templates, centralized tracking, automated renewal alerts, and approval workflows.
- For a global scholarship program: a microgrant approval and delivery system including backend systems for multi-stage review, automated communications, and fund disbursement.
- For a national advocacy organization: a compliance tool to track lobbying activity across jurisdictions.
- Private gatherings for leaders across technology, policy, and business, including operational infrastructure, team leadership, white-glove guest relations, and seamless vendor coordination. Since 2018, I have worked on program design and/or production for organizations like the Sohn Conference, D1 Capital, Dialog, and for several prominent family offices.
